Meeting Theatre is the ritual that grew up around the space where decisions were supposed to happen. It has agendas, decks, minutes and attendance — everything a decision needs, except the decision.
Theatre is easy to spot from the outside and impossible to name from the inside. Attendees leave with alignment, action items and no owner. Two weeks later the same discussion recurs, with the same slides and the same alignment.
Meeting Theatre is a symptom of unclear decision rights and undefined decision domains. Zero-Gravity treats it as evidence: any recurring meeting that produces no traceable action inside its own decision cycle is a candidate for redesign, not attendance.
